Jessica Schidlow, Esq. is a lawyer and legal strategist whose work centers on advanced statutory and constitutional interpretation, appellate-level legal analysis, and advisory work within regulated systems, professional practice, and organizational leadership. She brings extensive experience in complex legal analysis, research, and drafting, with a particular emphasis on matters involving vulnerable populations, institutional accountability, and constitutional issues with significant real-world impact.

Alongside her private practice, Jessica serves as Senior Policy Analyst and Legislative Counsel for the National Children’s Justice Campaign at Enough Abuse, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse through policy reform, institutional change, and prevention-focused strategies. She previously served as Legal Director of an interdisciplinary nonprofit think tank focused on preventing child sexual abuse and advancing access to justice for survivors, where her work concentrated on online exploitation, technology-facilitated abuse, and the intersection of constitutional principles with the rights of children and victims. She is the co-author of the Child Sex Abuse Statutes of Limitation Treatise (2002–2025), the first comprehensive national reference on civil and criminal statutes of limitation reform, relied upon by attorneys, advocates, and policymakers nationwide.

Her work includes authoring and coordinating dozens of influential amicus briefs before state supreme courts, federal appellate courts, and the United States Supreme Court. These briefs have contributed to the development of national precedent on issues including the constitutionality of revival statutes, survivor speech protections, and institutional and corporate accountability.

In addition to her appellate and advisory work, Jessica regularly advises lawmakers and organizations on complex legal and policy issues. She has testified before Congress and multiple state legislatures on matters including online exploitation and bankruptcy-related abuse claims, and she is a frequent speaker on statutes of limitation reform, bankruptcy and abuse litigation, and the role of law in preventing systemic harm.

Earlier in her career, Jessica practiced as a child advocate representing children in the dependency system and in private practice. She holds a master’s degree in Professional Clinical and Counseling Psychology and previously worked as an outpatient child and family therapist, experience that informs her trauma-informed, systems-aware approach to legal and consulting work.
